What is Ottawa Flowers’ loyalty program?

This is our way of showing our appreciation. You’ll earn points for activities on our site, like referrals and purchases. You can use them to earn discounts off purchases, so the more you collect the more you save!  Anyone can join the program and start earning rewards points - all you need to do is create an account. 


If I subscribe to your emails, does that mean I'm signed up for the rewards program?

Subscribing to our emails does not automatically enroll you in the Rewards program (but you do get points for subscribing!). To join, you need to create an account.

 

How do I leave the program?

If you no longer wish to earn points, please contact us and ask to be unenrolled. We'll unenroll you and you will lose any points you have accrued.

 

What happens if I leave and decide to join again?

Just contact us and we'll re-enroll you. However, your point total will begin from zero.

How do I earn points?

There are lots of ways to earn Reward points - learn more about them here. To earn points on purchases, make sure you are signed in to your account on our website before completing your purchase.

 

Is there a limit to the number of points I can earn?

No. Go ahead and earn as many as you can!

 

Can I earn rewards points for referring friends?

Yes, you can! Once you’ve logged in, go to My Rewards and find the box Earn Points - Refer Friends and choose Complete Activity. Copy and share your personalized link or pick another preferred way to share. Your friends will get $25 off their first purchase when they shop through your link, and you’ll earn 2500 points if they spend over $80 (before their discount)!


Where can I see how many points I have?

Sign in to your account to see your points balance.

 

What happens to points earned if I return a purchase?

Points earned on a returned purchase will be deducted from your account. Your tier status may be affected as a result as well.  

What do the 'approved', 'pending' and 'cancelled' statuses mean?

 

* **Approved:** These points can be redeemed on rewards immediately

* **Pending:** These points need to be verified before you can redeem them. 

* **Cancelled:** These points will not be added to your account. For example, this will happen if you cancel a purchase (the points will change from pending to cancelled)

 

What happens if a friend I refer cancels or returns their order?

Your pending points will become cancelled and will be removed from your account.

 

Why did my account balance go down?

You, or someone you referred, cancelled or returned a purchase.

 

I completed an activity but didn't earn points!

It can sometimes take a few minutes for us to process your activity and provide your points.

 

How do I use my rewards points?

You can redeem your points as soon as you have accumulated 500 points. Sign into your account and choose which eligible discount you want to redeem for your next purchase, then apply the discount code at checkout. You can also redeem your reward directly using the redemption slider on the checkout page if you are signed into your account - note that on a mobile device, you need to click on the drop-down ‘Show order summary’ to access the direct reward redemption option.

Discounts earned through rewards cannot be combined with other discount codes. Discounts cannot be applied to shipping charges.


Do my points expire?

Your points do not expire! However, your tier status will expire one year from the date you qualified for that tier, unless you meet that tier or a higher tier’s qualifying spend again within that year.


Shop pay

To check out with Shop Pay, you must use the reward redemption slider before clicking on Shop Pay to complete your purchase. If you are using a discount code you redeemed previously, you can enter it on the Shop Pay checkout page. 


Apple pay

To check out with Apple Pay, you must use the direct reward redemption or apply the discount code before using Apple Pay to complete your purchase. At the Information checkout page, click on the drop-down ‘Show order summary’ to apply the discount.


PayPal

To check out with PayPal, continue through the transaction (once you’ve signed in to PayPal) until it takes you back to Ottawa Flower’s checkout page, where you either enter the discount code you redeemed, or use the slider to redeem directly.


Rewards tiers

What are the tiers and how does it work?

Our Rewards system has three tiers, based on qualifying spend and each tier offers certain benefits. The tiers are:

Bronze - $0-$749.99 spend

Silver - $750-$1499.99 spend

Gold - $1500 + spend



How do I qualify for a tier?

All new Rewards members start in the Bronze tier and will move up when they meet the next tier’s qualifying spend. You need to be signed in to your account when you make purchases in order to get credit towards your tier status.

When you move into a higher tier, you will be in that tier for one year from the date you qualified, unless you meet that tier or a higher tier’s qualifying spend again within that year.


How does free shipping apply in the different tiers?

You must be signed in to your account at checkout to receive your shipping benefit. The shipping benefit is not transferable, redeemable for cash or cash equivalents, and no adjustments for shipping charges will be made on previous purchases.
